Frequently Asked Questions

Where should I park?
Free parking is available in the lot behind the building. Park there and enter through the back door. Please park in any unmarked spot or in one of the three spots reserved for suite 160. Overflow parking is available down the block to the east. Street parking on University Avenue is metered and costs 25 cents for every 30 minutes up to 2 hours. The front door on University Avenue locks at 5:00 PM

Does the state of Minnesota regulate massage therapists?
Yes and no. The state has no standards of education or practice of massage therapy. However, any practitioner of a healing specialty that does not require a medical license MUST present you with a Client Bill of Rights. This document outlines information about the practitioner: Who they are, what they do, what their training is, and what their business policies are.

Is there space to relax and revive after my massage?
New Light Therapy Center has a beautiful waiting room for you to have some quiet time before or after your massage. Complimentary water and tea are available for your enjoyment.

What should I do with my valuables?
Please keep all personal items with you in the treatment room.
